A major outage hit BlackBerry users in North America on Monday afternoon, cutting off wireless e-mail for everyone. The problem, which BlackBerry owner Research In Motion described as a "critical severity outage" affecting users in the Americas, once again raised concerns about the stability of the e-mail service 10 months after a widespread crash last April.

RIM notified its clients of the outage in an e-mail.

That is almost funny, let’s see, our entire email system crashed and so we send out an email to all of our clients.

sometimes things are just brilliant

Ever have a day where you start out one place and end up watching some indi film. No? I just did 🙂 And all I can say is it was awesome. I don’t give high praise to too many things but this one is awesome!!!!

It is like 90 minutes of crossing the country on a Segway.
