Life is messed up

I’m sitting here trying to get my head around the fact that a friend is now gone. He wasn’t close but we didn’t know each other that long.

He was found today in his Jeep dead. Apparent homicide.

Friday we took his jeep to Home Depot, picked up a bunch of sheet rock and tools and redid the ceiling in my mothers place. We broke off early [5pm] on friday with the idea that we would resume on Saturday afternoon. He never showed up. I was pissed [and relieved cause i was tired]. And no word on Sunday.

It is hard to write this.

I didn’t know you well John, I just wish there was more I could have done to help with what ever problems you had that led up to somebody taking your life.
